Alex is a commercial helicopter pilot, SAG-AFTRA stunt performer and aerial ground coordinator, and his love of flying runs through everything he does. He has flown and coordinated aerial work for film and television, including series such as S.W.A.T., 9-1-1, SEAL Team and Bosch: Legacy.
On XBRAND productions he runs the ground side of aerial operations, from aircraft support to logistics, at home and abroad. He was Ground Coordinator for the recent Jay-Z concerts in New York City, Paris and London. Years spent producing television before he turned to aviation mean he understands a production schedule as well as a flight plan.
What he brings
Alex has worked across helicopter operations as well as on set. He was Assistant Chief Pilot of a utility department at Helinet Aviation Services, responsible for a two-Black Hawk program used by government agencies for firefighting missions, and Director of Operations at Hangar 21 Helicopters.
He has also flight-tested a helicopter situational-awareness system in the Swiss Alps. That depth of operational experience, together with his stunt and production background, lets him keep aircraft, crews and schedules safe and moving on the ground.
